Multi-purpose electrical shelters
Using electrical shelters reduces assembly time and costs dramatically, ensuring rapid installation of fully integrated systems tested at the factory. In this regard, we provide electrical shelters using ISO standard containers or specially made designs (customized size and functions) fully adapted to meet the corresponding thermal, acoustic, and electrical insulation requirements.

By combining electrical shelters with modern technologies (physical links, wireless communications, and fiber optic networks) it is possible to supplement the functions of several rooms in one facility, strengthening interconnection, reducing traditional copper-wire electric lines, and replacing many electrical control, measurement, and even protection signals by digital signals under communication protocols specific to electric power systems, such as the new standards IEC61850 Goose and MMS, DNP3.0, IEC60870-101/104 and other commonly used standards such as Modbus TCP/RTU, Ethernet IP, Ethercat, Profibus, etc.
As regards capacitor bank solutions for power factor compensation or voltage regulation, using electrical shelters allows to provide compact, comprehensive, portable solutions that can be taken to their final location after being fully tested at the factory. These shelters are ready to be connected to their final power source and control units. Commissioning time-requirements are considerably reduced as compared to traditional fixed installations. Likewise, shelters can be removed and relocated to serve similar purposes, achieving full adaptability through the versatility of implemented controls.
Medium-voltage compact transformer centers are an ideal solution for temporary assemblies or short works. They can be added to the distribution network through remote monitoring and control devices.
Within the range of supplies for control systems and protections for power generation plants and substations, the ones with higher availability requirements are backup devices for auxiliary services systems—both stationary banks with their corresponding direct current battery charger as well as alternating current uninterruptible power systems (UPS). We can supply rugged versions of these devices for industrial use with the warranty of manufacturers that acknowledge our work as integrators.
Electrical shelters with diesel generating sets of up to 1.8 MW in ISO containers with optional telemetry system for remote monitoring, auxiliary services and distribution panel. Protection and control systems to operate in island mode or coupled to grid or busbar. Upon request, sets may be supplied with SCADA monitoring and operation software with load transfer algorithms, generation economic dispatch, and peak shaving.
For facilities with multiple electrical rooms close to each other with similar refrigeration needs, we supply refrigeration units contained in ISO containers. These units are built in compact Freon equipment and can refrigerate multiple rooms through pipes and fan coils, avoiding the use of individual pieces of conditioning equipment (which, in the long run, are more expensive and have a poorer performance).

Our solutions include modular column distribution boards, fixed cubicles or extractable compartments, and customized metal enclosures.
